KEYBOARD issue for G42 Laptop.

Keyboard on my laptop has a problem. right side shift key and arrow keys do not function. How do i check if it is an issue with the HP G Series Keyboard or some software issue. If keyboard is an issue how and where do we source keyboard made for this model.
