记二圆半径之和为 \(s = r+R, \; h = b-s,\,\)则\(\,a = s+\sqrt{s^2-h^2}\)
\((a+h)^2=a^2+2ah+h^2=a^2+2a(b-s)+h^2=2ab\),
\(s=a+b-\sqrt{2ab},\;h=\sqrt{2ab}-a,\;a=b-h+\sqrt{b(b-2h)}\)
\(\therefore\;\;a=b-{\small\frac{1}{2}}H+\sqrt{b(b-H)}\;(H=2h=|UV|).\)
\(a=8-3+\sqrt{8\times 2}=5+4=9\) |
