General result? One end of a stick of length r slides along the perimeter of a convex polygon, maintaining angle θ to each side. At corners, it swivels. The polygon has perimeter P.
a) The length of the path traced by other end of the stick?
b) The area swept out by the stick?

The length between two axels of a bicycle is r meters. Ride the bike around a convex closed loop. Why is the area between the two tracks you make sure to be πr^2?
