Professor Martin Groetschel is a leading mathematician in the area of discrete optimization. In addition to carrying out fundamental research, he also has extensive experience in solving the most pressing problems that arise in industry.
Professor Martin Groetschel has received world-wide recognition for his work.He is the winner of many prestigious awards, including the SIAM Dantzig Prize, the Leibniz Prize, and the EURO Gold Medal. He currently serves as the general secretary of IMU (International Mathematicians Union).
